WHAT WE OFFER
Our aim is to continue expanding the teams from U7 all the way through to adults football. This will allow players a continued pathway to continue to develop and progress in their football journeys.
Our club is all about inclusion, and incorporating key life skills within our sessions and matches. We have different teams (Panthers, Pumas, Lynxes) suitable for all levels, so your child will fit in at the appropriate level for them.

Mini Sports Stars U7 (year 2) age group consists of 3 teams - Panthers, Pumas and Lynxes who play 5 a-side. This is the youngest age group at the club and is a great introduction for children to start playing competitive matches against other teams every Sunday morning. This age group prioritises children developing ball mastery skills, participating in small sided games and most importantly the children having fun.

Mini Sports Stars U8 (year 3) consists of 3 teams - Panthers, Lynxes and Tigers who play 5 a-side. At this age, we aim to ensure children are playing at the right level so they are being challenged appropriately, competitively and confidently ensuring they are playing in a suitable team. Above all enjoyment is the most important thing at MSS, therefore having multiple teams in different age groups allows us the flexibility to change players around, reinforcing their enjoyment for the sport.

U9 (YEAR 4 CHILDREN)

Mini Sports Stars U9 (year 4) consists of 2 teams - Panthers and Pumas. This age group sees the players move from 5 a side to 7 a side. We aim to ensure children have the opportunity to explore new positions, as more positions become available and get the players to begin to understand the roles and responsibilities of each role whilst enjoying their football.

Mini Sports Stars U10 (Year 5) consists of 3 teams - Panthers, Pumas and lynxes who continue to play 7 a-side. Our aim is to make the players more competitive at this age striving to win football matches. Whilst this is our aim, we still teach the players how to conduct themselves in the right way being respectful to their peers, coaches and referees whilst enjoying their football.

U11 (YEAR 6 CHILDREN)
Mini Sports Stars Panthers
Mini Sports Stars U11 (Year 6) consists of one team - Panthers. this age group sees the players move from 7 a side to 9 a side. From the earlier years at our club, children should have adopted a good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of different positions. The coaches will now identify players strengths and weaknesses and match up which attributes will work well with specific positions. This must occur with the emphasis being on the players enjoying their football.

U12 (Year 7 Children)

Mini Sports Stars U12 (Year 7) consists of one team - Pumas. This age group sees the players continue to play 9 a-side. Our aim is to help the children increase their competitiveness and willingness to win, whilst still demonstrating good values such as team-work and respect. We want players to continue to develop technically and increase their game understanding whilst maintaining their love for the game.

U13 (YEAR 8 CHILDREN)
Mini Sports Stars Pumas
Mini Sports Stars U13 (year 8) is currently the oldest age group at the club starting at U7 and still going now. This age group sees the players move from 9 a-side to 11 a-side. Our aim is to show the children at this age the importance of commitment, dedication and hard work. It is important the players improve as footballers and show an eagerness to win whilst still demonstrating respect among their team-mates, coaches and referees. This must occur with the emphasis being on the players enjoying their football.
